The university's president was reinstated today. I might have been at the vigil accompanying the board meeting, but was instead at the vet with the family dog. She did something to her paw and finished the last third of our walk on three legs. By the time I got her to the vet, everything seemed fine, darn it! But at least I did my duty as the nurturer of the family and got it checked.
