Watch It!

I ordinarily use my cell phone as a watch, but since I won't be carrying it while overseas, thought a watch was in order. It took me a while to find one I liked, which means analog and somewhat small without being frilly or overly feminine. As an aside, it is harder than you think to take a decent photo of one hand even if that hand is your non-dominant one.

Forgotten Title

A new month means a new calendar picture. I buy one wall calendar each year; this is the last page of the one for 2011. Behind it sits a 2012 calendar of Charles M. Russell artwork that I purchased in Montana. I don't expect that it will contain the profound statements this year's calendar has, but that's okay. Sometimes a pretty picture is all I need.

You Come Here Often?

Another month has flown by and, yes, I'm pretty much repeating the shot I took for August 1. It's my blog, and I'll repeat if I want to. I have been in a bit of a fog of late with lots of little in the air, some of it bigger than others. I'm hoping to stop in the calendar's "present moment" at some point soon, take a deep breath, and just be.
