Ursula ... Get It?

Meet Ursula, the newest member of our plush family. She was a gift from younger son's significant other. The husband told her not to get me a "big rabbit," said rabbit being 26 inches tall. So she got me a 53-inch tall bear. Ursula is oh so very soft and will read many a book with me. As for the name Ursula, get it? Genus Ursus ... bear.

Bearly Rescued!

We rescued this little guy from the middle of a busy street (actually, a busy bridge) today. There's no way to reunite him with the child who may be very sad at losing a special friend, but we will give him a good home. His tiny sweater is for real knitted which shows how loved he probably was, is, and will be. Welcome, small bear!
