Reasons

There's a reason this plant was labelled "butterfly bush." If I were totally anal, I'd do a bit of research and find out the real name. But I'm not, so I won't. Instead, I'll just enjoy the view while I can.

What Goes Around

What goes around may come around. I think I had a butterfly on flower shot very early on in the year of this blog. It seems only appropriate to have another as the end draws near. Have I decided what to do next year? Somewhat. The blog-to-be at least has a name thanks to a comment from Debi on my post pondering the coming, 57th year of my life.

You Can't Have Everything

Two butterflies and a bee, all partaking of the flowers outside my door. Is it too much to ask for a pristine background without a garden hose running through it and without a messenger bag and sweatshirt hurriedly dropped to the sidewalk so as to chase butterflies? Yes, it is. You can't have everything. (The color of the flowers is washed out, too.) This is probably why I shall never go anywhere in photography. I am not patient enough to plan the shot and shoot the plan.
